You can open an account entirely from the app, in just a few minutes:
- Download Sako from the App Store or Google Play and tap Create an account.
- Country of residence — detected automatically, and you can change it if needed.
- Phone number — you'll receive a 6-digit code by SMS or WhatsApp.
- Email address — confirmed with a second code, to secure your account and receive your receipts.
- First and last name — exactly as they appear on your ID document.
- 6-digit passcode — entered twice, it protects access to the app along with Face ID or fingerprint.
You can also continue with Google: your email is then pre-filled and the email confirmation step is skipped.
Identity verification
Once your account is created, the app will invite you to verify your identity (ID document + selfie). You can do it later, but it's required to send money and unlock all your limits.
