Staying with someone?
If no document is in your name, provide a letter of accommodation (attestation d'hébergement) signed by the person you live with, along with a copy of their ID document and proof of address in their name.
- France — generate the letter online using the official public service simulator, no in-person visit needed.
- Italy — download the official dichiarazione di ospitalità form (Prefettura) and have your host fill it in.
- Spain — there is no online procedure: you get the certificate by going to the local police station (policía local / comisaría) with your host.
Tips
- Complete document, with all pages if needed, not cropped.
- PDF, JPG or PNG format, clearly legible.
- Mobile phone bills and quotes are not accepted.
